Here’s a quick “how to” use paint mask’s.
First apply the paint mask.
Draw a couple of guide lines as once you take the backing paper off its very difficult to see the wording to line it up.
Mask around the wording.
Spray over with a couple  of coats of paint.
Remove the masking.
We are using a mixture of paint mask’s and dry rub on transfers.
Although the paint looks very nice with a shiny finish it was little bit to stark looking. So a semi gloss clear coat will be applied followed by some weathering around the rivet and panel lines
and of course one of the Seaking’s trade mark’s............. dirty sooty marks from the exhausts
Paint and finishing
The “Royal Navy” wording is done using two mask’s overlaid. The first one is painted black and then a second slightly smaller one is used to paint the white, once removed they leave white lettering with a black background
